Project history
Naturaviva was born out of the need to protect a particularly sensitive coastal ecosystem, where beaches, lagoons, wildlife, and human communities coexist. This area is home to key species such as sea turtles and birds, and at the same time faces increasing threats from human activity, pollution, and a lack of environmental awareness.

The project was created as a practical response to these challenges, combining conservation, environmental monitoring, permaculture, and responsible volunteering, with the goal of generating a positive impact on both the natural environment and the people involved.

PROBLEMS WE ADDRESS
Coastal ecosystems are among the most vulnerable on the planet. In our area of operation, the main problems are related to human pressure on biodiversity, beach pollution, and the effects of climate change on sea level.
Sea Turles
They are endangered. Despite their legal protection, the illegal harvesting of eggs for human consumption is a real threat that reduces their chances of survival.
Birds
They are bioindicators of the ecosystem, as their presence, behavior, and diversity reflect the environmental health of the area. Continuous monitoring of bird populations is essential to assess potential ecosystem disturbances.
Coastal problem
The accumulation of waste on the beaches and the rise in sea level, phenomena that directly affect biodiversity, the landscape, and the stability of the natural environment.
