Volunteering

"Only if we understand can we care. Only if we care will we help. Only if we help shall all be saved"

~Jane Goodall~

Our volunteer program

Our volunteer program is based on four key pillars for environmental conservation:

Sea Turtles

Birds

Coastal
monitoring

Permaculture

Activities vary slightly depending on the time of year you wish to visit. However, during both seasons, we offer theoretical training sessions: on bird monitoring and on sea turtle biology. We also offer workshops such as coconut cheese making, tropical fruit tasting...

In total, the program consists of 20 hours of volunteer work per week, and weekends are free to take excursions, tours, etc.

Minimum stay: 2 weeks

At NaturaViva, we require a minimum stay of two weeks.

The first week is dedicated to learning about the project, your tasks, and becoming familiar with the natural environment and the animals.
During the second week, volunteers are more comfortable with the activities and can participate more independently, contributing more actively to the project and making their experience more enriching.

To support the project's operation and the care of the natural space, we request a contribution of US$30 per night. This contribution helps cover lodging, site maintenance, and the conservation activities we carry out at NaturaViva.
